Effective heat without burning dust
Quick, effective and draught-free heating without burning dust thanks to the integrated PTC ceramic heating elements – that is what the ceramic fan heaters of the TDS‑M series stand for. Unlike devices with heating wire ceramic fan heaters do not contaminate the room air with additional fine particulates. And since they do not consume any oxygen for heat generation and produce neither combustion gases nor condensate-laden warm air, these fan heaters are ideal rapid heaters for applications in living and working spaces and a true asset for every allergy sufferer.
Unlike conventional heating wire devices, the robust fan heaters of Trotec's TDS‑M series generate heat quickly and effectively. Therefore, the devices are the ideal heat source especially in the time between seasons and on extremely cold days. Furthermore, the durable PTC ceramic offers numerous advantages as compared to conventional heating wire technology.
Advantages of the ceramic PTC heater battery
PTC heater batteries are considerably more robust and heat up more quickly while they cannot overheat due to their functional principle. For if they become too hot, the conductivity and power output are automatically reduced by the material. An integrated temperature limiting effect automatically protects the devices from overheating and thus offers a high level of operational safety.
This temperature limiting effect also explains why PTC heater batteries do not require a large air supply for cooling. This allows for the installation of smoothly running and hence particularly silent fans. Combined with the large heater battery surface TDS-M fan heaters therefore generate an agreeably homogeneous, draught-free hot air current in a silent way.
The "small" ceramic fan heaters TDS 10 M and TDS 20 M
- With two heating levels that can be set separately the TDS 10 M can be variably switched to 1 kW or 2 kW heating operation.
- And, likewise with two heating levels that can be set separately, the TDS 20 M can be variably switched to a heating capacity of 1.5 kW or 3 kW.
- Each fan heater combined with a powerful axial fan provides pleasant warmth in cold rooms.
The "large" ceramic fan heaters TDS 30 M and TDS 50 M
- Due to their high air flow rate, the high-performance rapid heaters TDS 30 M and TDS 50 M are ideally suited for quickly heating large rooms. In case of the two "large" fan heaters, the desired temperature can be regulated as needed via the integrated infinitely variable thermostat.
- For more targeted warmth, the heating capacity of the TDS 30 M can be increased in two stages up to 5 kW and in case of the TDS 50 M even up to 9 kW. True for both devices is that the fan can also be used in sole fan operation without heating function.
- The integrated overheating protection guarantees safe heating in continuous operation. Moreover, the fan motor is provided with thermal protection and an automatic rundown function that keeps the fan running for a certain period after switch-off to ensure safe cool-down.
