Indirectly fired air heaters such as the oil heater fan IDE 50 are an ideal solution to provide large amounts of clean and dry hot air, as is required for the heating of construction sites, marquees, exhibition halls, workshops or stables.

Longer outdoor applications are no problem for the oil heater fan IDE 50, because it is provided with a durable housing made of doubly coated material, borne by a smooth-running carriage construction with cable holders and installed fuel tank.

When employing the optionally available flue gas discharge, this heating device can also be flexibly used for the fully automatic heating of closed rooms.

A thermostat with digital dual display for actual and nominal value is permanently installed for temperature control; in addition, an external thermostat with a 25-metre connection cable can optionally also be supplied in case the oil heater fan is to be positioned away from the area to be heated.

The firing of the IDE 50 can variably be realized with diesel or fuel oil, the constant supply of which is ensured by a high-quality Danfoss injection pump. The external fuel filter enables easy access and the current amount of fuel can conveniently be read from the integrated tank filling level indication.

IDE indirect oil heaters – maximum heating power, clean warmth

The indirect oil heaters of the IDE series are ideally suited for rooms in which ventilation is only possible to a certain extent, but which still are to be used by people and animals. They are also a good choice for speeding up construction drying as well as in rooms where there is a fire hazard due to combustible substances.

In case of indirect heaters, the air to be heated is completely isolated from the combustion chamber.

The air is heated while flowing past the enlarged area of the combustion chamber, the heat exchanger. To be sure, the fan blowing out warm air also provides the required combustion air, but the combustion products are led away into the open air through a chimney.

Thus, in order to obtain both clean and dry warmth, we recommend using an indirect heater.

Unlike direct heaters, they do not emit any combustion products or water vapour into the room air, provided that the optionally available flue gas discharge is used.

Special equipment features

The temperature can be adjusted as required via a stepless thermostat control. An additional dual display informs you of the nominal and actual value.
Electronic thermostat
The IDE 50 comes equipped with a readily accessible external fuel filter. The filling level of the integrated fuel tank can be checked anytime via the standard liquid level indication.
Fuel filter and tank filling level indicator
To ensure constant firing of the stainless steel combustion chamber, the fuel supply of many IDE devices is effected by means of a high-quality Danfoss® injection pump.
Oil heater fan IDE 50
The oil heater fan IDE 50 is equipped with a connection for an external thermostat if the temperature is to be measured and controlled at a location to be heated that is up to 25 metres away (a thermostat is optionally available).
Connection for an external thermostat
Instead of the stainless steel chimney, an optional flue pipe can also be connected to remove the combustion air.
